The believers dedicated themselves to learning from the apostles, taking part in life together,
sharing meals with one another and to prayer. – Acts 2:42
2:42 groups are small groups that meet on the 4th Sunday of the month during our Sunday School hour and over lunch.
Rather than meeting in age-segregated classes 2:42 groups are an intergenerational Sunday School experience
that takes place in people's homes. From 11:00 until 1:00 these small groups share a meal together
while responding to questions from a Conversation Menu.
Each month a new food menu is provided and group members can choose what they would like to bring
the following month. On the back of the food menu are questions relating to the topic of worship
or to the lives of the 2:42 participants.
2:42 groups invite us to be attentive to God,
attentive to the work of the Spirit in us,
and attentive to the face of Christ in our neighbour.
